Pilot Button-Activated Black Stripe

This 1971 Pilot is a Button-activated “Black Stripe” cartridge/converter-fill in Stainless Steel (deeply engraved) and Black Plastic. Unlike the White Stripe model, the engraved lines are filled with black enamel and the pen has a factory decal “Capless” below the clip (a little wear), Smooth chrome clip and button. Fine nib. Extraordinary Pens – Waterman Rose Ripple

This 1928 Waterman 994 is a lever-filler Rose Ripple. One of the rarest and most beautiful of colors! Few were made because the country was entering the depression and few high end pens were selling, the rubber turned out to be very fragile so few survived, and the same year Waterman very shortly afterwards introduced their first plastic pen, the Patrician, which was very successful. Extraordinary Pens – Parker 51 Princess Demi

This is a 1950 Parker 51 Princess Demi Aerometric-fill in smooth gold-filled. The cap top and barrel bottom each have a large white glass crystal, and the cap is surrounded by 12 diamond shaped red glass crystals. So very rare! This 1920s Conklin is a #3 Crescent-fill in gold-filled “Hand Engraved Vine.” Conklin is known to have created some of the finest and most beautiful overlays, and this one is no exception! The lock ring is gold-filled to complete the look. This is a Clipless model fitted with a fine, semi-flexible nib. Indicia beautifully engraved, “C.H.Ludde.’ Near mint! Item #1 in Catalog #80.

Extraordinary Pens – Pelikan 112 from 1933

This 1933 Pelikan 112 Piston-filler in 14K has a pinstriped and wavy line panels design. The barrel is visualated in amber celluloid. This is one of the rarest of the early Pelikans! The cap is adorned with applied 14K fancy repousse “KK” initials. How did I come into possession of this pen? I acquired the pen out of Poland and was told of a very interesting provenance. Montblanc Model 52 Pencil

A 1929 Model 42 Double-ended, 8-sided Pencil from Montblanc! The pencil mechanisms are twist activated. One end is blue, the other red. Very rare!! Both sides have the MONT//\\BLANC factory imprint. Knurled center joint. Near mint. Item 51 in Catalog #79

General Manufacturing Co. Snapfill #2 Lever Filler

The 1920 General Manufacturing Co. Snapfill #2 Lever Filler in black chased hard rubber is an unusual filling mechanism. When you lift the lever from the barrel, a small hinged extension drops from the lever to the press bar. Pressing the lever then depresses the bar, filling the pen. When the press bar is fully depressed, the hinged extension then automatically snaps back into the lever and a “click” is heard as the lever lowers back …
