Fine, flexible nib.

Asprey did one run of these in the early 2000’s to commemorate the re-opening of their flagship store after a major revamp of the company when it was purchased by the Sultan of Brunei. The top of the cap is discretely stamped ‘167 New Bond Street London’ on the Rhodium plated metal trim. Asprey holds the UK warrant as a supplier of luxury goods to the British Royal family, and the pen certainly feels like it was made for royalty. New-old-stock. Mint in box with papers and outer box. Refill included (and readily available). Photo of pen with packaging.

1955 Montblanc 08 Ballpen in Red. Button-activated. GPT. Barrel separator ring factory imprinted “Montblanc No. 08 -.” Montblanc wanted to enter the ballpen business but wasn’t ready to make their own. They partnered with Ballograf (Sweden) to manufacture a ballpen for them with a very high capacity refill, holding three times the ink as a normal refill. The “MB08″ was discontinued in 1957 when Montblanc introduced their first in-house manufactured and higher quality, ballpen, and is extremely rare today. Comes with its original refill (dry) and a modern Montblanc replacement. Near mint.

A Page of Waterman CF Pens - Mint-in-the-box

The futuristic-designed “CF” *Cartridge-fill” was designed by master designer Harley Earl of automotive fame. The pen was sold with only a cartridge, which are rare today. Each pen below comes with two cartridges which can repeatedly be refilled using a syringe (let us know if you need the syringe). They never came with a converter, although these were made separately and are excruciatingly rare today. We have enough to be able to provide one for each pen below at a small additional cost. The CF was made in the USA, UK and France, in several styles and price points. The gripping sections on the higher level models have long inlaid metal shoulders, adding to the futuristic design. Student models lack both this trim and the solid gold nibs. Matching pencils were produced and, in later years, ballpens as well.

Featured - Two Pages of Vintage Eversharp Skyline Pens

Vintage Pen Catalog 94 Section 24

The Eversharp repeater pencil (1936) was doing well in the marketplace, but competitor’s businesses were outdoing them. Industrial designer Henry Dreyfus was brought on to design a competitive line of pens and pencils. Thus, the Skyliner was born early in 1941 (soon renamed “Skyline”). When the cap is posted onto the tapered barrel it becomes a very comfortable writer. In a few short years, the Skyline became the best selling pen in the USA!
