Montblanc Hemingway Fountain Pen

This is the 1992 Montblanc Ernest Hemingway – the first in Montblanc’s Writer’s Edition series. The Hemingway is a piston-filler, Limited Edition in Cardinal with a Black Cap and gold-plated trim, including a visualated barrel. This was a new-old-stock, mint condition pen with service booklet. Features a three-toned, medium nib. Item #74 in Catalog #82.

Salz Brothers Salesman’s Sample Case

This 1935 Salz Brothers Salesman’s Sample Case is the Cathedral Shape, signed on the inside top “Salz Brothers Inc. Manufacturers of Fountain Pens New York.” Measures 4 1’2″ x 9 ½” closed and 9 1/4″ x 9 ½” open. Contains slots for 12 pens (the original pens which were in the case are #s 54 to 65 below). Soennecken Salesman’s Sample Case

A 1950 Soennecken Salesman’s Sample Case in Black! Hinged, 14.25″ x 8.25″ x 1.25″ closed, with two latches. Contains 17 capped pens (no nibs or feeds) – none alike), a few pen barrels and 25 celluloid rod samples – none alike. The rod samples were originally tied together, but some of the string has not survived. A remarkable find, with some wonderful celluloid samples. Extraordinary Pens – Conklin S3 Crescent-Filler

This Conklin 1905 S3 is a crescent-filler in gold-filled “Art Nouveau Filigree” overlay on Black Hard Rubber. It has a slip cap and a medium/fine, extra-flexible nib. Cap indicia lightly engraved in script, “KVP.” Correct crescent bar with no engraving. A very early and rare model. Near mint in original box. Item #1 in Catalog #81.

This 2003 Pilot button-activated pen is a cartridge/converter-fill in Mandarin Yellow and Rhodium. Special Edition for Japanese Market (a darker yellower color than the 2008 re-release). Fine nib. Montegrappa Ettore Bugatti Type 50

This 1995 Montegrappa Ettore Bugatti Type 50 LE #29/1930 cartridge/converter-fill in black Lacquer. This is extremely rare, and was produced by Montegrappa for sale in Bugatti boutiques. Gold-plated trim, and the clip is shaped like the Bugatti Atlantic automobile. Gripping section in silver dimpled. Two-tone 18K medium nib. Item #64 in Catalog #80
