Vintage Pen Big Ben Model 6K

Vintage Pen Big Ben Model 6K

This is a 1935 Big Ben Model 6K Faceted BF in Green Pearl Web. GFT. Niels Benzion, of the Benzion Trading Company in Copenhagen, worked at Wahl Eversharp in US. When he returned to Denmark he opened an agency to sell Wahl Eversharp pens. Because they sold all they could import (there were strict import quotas), and still had unfilled demand, they started manufacturing button-fill pens in 1933 under the Big Ben name (their piston-fill pens were made for them by a German manufactured, Hebborn & Co). No wonder this pen looks so much like a Wahl Doric! Medium/fine nib. Near mint. Item #147 in Catalog #84. Item #146 is the matching twist-activated pencil for the fountain pen.
