1925 Astoria "2 M" Safety eyedropper-fill Set in 14K "Hand Engraved" pattern over Black Hard Rubber. Medium, flexible nib. 1/4" hairline split in overlay on turning knob and one small ding in the cap top, otherwise near mint+. Never filled.

1936 Aurora Etiopia eyedropper-fill in Ivory Celluloid. GFT. Made for Italian military officers. Eagle on cap, inlaid in blue. Medium, triple-flexible nib. Slightest ambering here and there, otherwise near mint.

1935 Dunhill/Zerollo Twopen Matchstick-fill in Black Spiral Lined Hard Rubber. Made for John Dunhill by Zerollo. This pen was produced in two sizes, which are equally rare – this is the smaller of the two. GFT. The cap top unscrews to reveal the matchstick filler. Sports two separate reservoirs, one for each of the medium, flexible nibs. Turn the bottom knob to propel one nib, turn in the other direction to propel the other. Extremely rare!

1932 Leboeuf #8 half-sleeve thumb-fill in Tan Pearl with Carmel veins (beautiful)! GFT. Correct #8 "Warranted" nib. Medium, flexible nib, with an italic flair. Near mint.

1924 Montblanc 2 Octagonal Safety eye-dropper-fill in fully-covered 18K Rolled-gold overlay (MB overlays fully covered from top to bottom are rare). Alternating sides of engine-turned wave chasing & foliate designs. Cap signed "MONT //\\ BLANC." White enamel star on cap top. Montblanc Fine, extra-flexible, "Warranted 2 14K" nib. Some slight wear to the edge of the overlay at the section opening, otherwise near mint+.

1914 Montblanc Rouge et Noir 6M Safety eyedropper-fill in Black Hard Rubber. Barrel signed "Rouge et Noir [Logo] Original Pat.Appl." Early Montblanc nib signed "Trade Mark Simplo 6 Trade Mark." Quite rare! Fine, flexible nib. A few surface scratches and a bit of imprint wear (fully readable). Excellent+

1935 Montblanc 128 PL Push-knob fill in Platinum. Perhaps Montblanc’s most beautiful celluloid! GFT. The largest (and most desirable) size of this model. Two-toned, medium/fine, flexible nib. Near mint.

1937 Montblanc 334 ½ PIF in Azurite Blue. GFT. Odd model, with knurling just above the turning knob. 3/4" green celluloid visualated window. The slightest darkening to the upper part of the barrel, otherwise near mint.

1995 Montblanc Octavian LE 2802/4810 in Sterling Silver Filigree on Black. One of the most sought after Montblanc Limited Editions. Fine nib. Mint in box with papers. Outer blue box shows wear. Close-up of vintage pen in box.

1955 Pelikan 520NN PIF in Gold-filled. Visualated barrel. Double broad, oblique nib (other nibs available). There are three different model 520NN patterns.  The most common is the complete engine-turned diamond pattern (no panels).  The second design, which is much rarer, has four wide engine-turned diamond panels, each separated by a narrow plain panel (the design of this pen). The third, and rarest pattern, has twelve alternating engine-turned vertical panels separated by very narrow plain panels [made in Italy].  New-old-stock. Mint

1932 Pullman #2 BF in Black Hard Rubber over a brass lining. Unsigned (but there is absolutely no doubt what it is). The famous pen which opens and closes by pushing up & pulling down the barrel (shown both open & closed). Fine nib, signed "Meteor 18K 15." "Meteor" was the French licensee for Pullman. Near mint.

1959 Sheaffer PFM III Snorkel Demonstrator in Transparent. Correct half-black cap and shell. Fine, flexible nib (yes, a flex nib on a PFM!). Near mint+

1920 Waterman 58 LF in Cardinal. By far the hardest of the model 58’s to find, especially in near mint+ condition! GFT. Fine, flexible nib. A hint of darker color where the barrel was covered by the cap.

1920 Waterman (05)52V LF in 18K rolled-gold (gold-filled). Alternating plain & engine-turned panels. Correct NP lever. Fine, flexible nib. A few minor dings and a few spots of brassing at the lower barrel edge. Excellent.

1924 Waterman 452 LF in Sterling Silver "Gothic" pattern. Wonderful fine, flexible, italic nib. Indicia engraved: "CJS." Near mint.

1925 Waterman 94 LF in Red Ripple. One of the rarest of the model 94 line! GFT. Also has an odd, short clip. Medium/fine nib, with a tad of flex. New-old-stock. Mint.

1925 Waterman 58 LF in Woodgrain. GFT. Woodgrain is rarer than the "Ripple" pattern. Broad, flexible, italic nib. A tad of imprint wear (fully readable) otherwise near mint.

1925 Waterman 58 LF in Red Ripple. GFT. User grade pen (reflected in price) with imprint wear (readable except for bottom line), and a tad of brassing to the lever. Cap band engraved "SFG." But all this is offset by the incredible fine, triple flexible nib! Excellent+

1929 Waterman Patrician LF in Turquoise (Blue & Bronze). GFT. Very nice color. User grade pen. Barrel engraved "W. Plutchow – Zurich." Medium nib. One "kink" in the center of the lever. A tad of color bleaching surrounds each of the three cap vent holes and the barrel just below the threads (caused by acid fumes from inks used ~75 years ago). Clip worn and just a tad loose. Excellent.

1930 Waterman 42 Continental Safety eyedropper-fill in 18K Rolled-gold. Alternating Gothic & Foliate engine-turned panels. Cap and barrel each have inlaid bands of blue enamel clover with blue enamel edge borders. Signed clip. Heavy repousse floral cap top. Smooth overlay just above turning knob engraved "L. Barbara 1930 I. Cannonieri R.C.T. Ostro." Medium/fine, italic nib. A little wear to the blue enamel here and there. Excellent+.

1930 Waterman Lady Patricia LF Set in Persian. NPT. One of the rarest colors. Cap tops engraved, "K." Extra-fine nib, with "Tip-fill section (only the tip of the nib needs to be inserted into the ink to fill the pen). Near mint.

1933 Waterman 3V LF in Green Pearl with Red Specks. GFT. Has Waterman’s "Tip-Fill" feed, so the pen can be filled with only about half the nib dipped into the ink, avoiding the need to dip any part of the gripping section into the ink. Fine, extra-flexible nib. New-old-stock. Mint with the original label applied to the bottom of the pen. The label reads "3V $3.00."

1932 Ford’s Patent "Magnum" plunger-fill in Black Hard Rubber. A rare and highly unusual pen with a unique filling mechanism! The barrel unscrews and removes to access the celluloid ink reservoir with it’s cork gasket. The pen fills on the pull stroke and a sliding seal moves out of the way on the push stroke so the ink doesn’t expel. Shown closed, which the following example is shown open. More information here: http://www.penpractice.com/page10.html. Broad, oblique nib. In Lambrou’s 1989 book, he mentions that these pens were produced under licence for T.B. 1920 Moore L-92 LF in Black Chased Hard Rubber. Deluxe model with wide 14K (unmarked) cap band. Cap has an applied emblem of a tree stump with a crossed axe, sledgehammer and wedge above. The initials "WOW" are on the stump in red enamel, while the Latin phrase "Dum Tacet Clamat," in inlaid black enamel, are in a ribbon scroll below. The coat of arms belongs to the "Woodmen of the World" (a Fraternal Organization still in existence today) and the English translation of their motto is "Though silent he speaks." At one time they offered gravestones to their members which displayed their motto. There is a lapel pin for sale in the 1901 Sears Catalog with the identical logo. Clip & lever may be 14K as well(?). Very rare and unusual. Fine, flexible nib.

1920 Moore #2 size Safety eyedropper-fill in Gold-filled pinstriped, bordered in chased vine pattern. Rare and exquisite! Correct "American Fountain Pen Co." nib. Near mint.

1925 Newark Pen Company "Secretary" #6 size combination LF Pencil-Pen in Jade. While "Secretary"was originally the model of the pen, it eventually became the name of the company, which was operated by Joseph Wustman, who also operated the Camel Pen Company. GFT. Unusual to find an example in near mint+ condition, like this one, with perfect imprints and almost perfect color. Nib (medium/fine) signed "Secretary 14K."

1915 Ormiston & Glass "The Tom Tit" miniature eyedropper-fill straight-holder in Green Marble Hard Rubber. Very rare and collectible, early pen, with both overfeed and underfeed. 2 5/8" closed. Near mint. O & G also made the "Stub" mechanical pencil and the "Federation" Stylo, among other items. I traced them as far back as the late 1880’s, selling dip pen nibs, with their address as "Ormiston & Glass Ltd., contractors to H. M. government. The ‘Saracen’s Head,’ Snow Hill, London, E.C., England." I found no information about O & G after around 1920. Medium, flexible nib. Near mint.

Slightest brassing to the pen cap bands (none on the pencil), and perhaps just a tad of darkening of the bottom half of the pen cap, otherwise near mint.

1912 Salz Brothers #4 size Coin filler in Black Chased Hard Rubber with NP accommodation clip. The three Salz brother’s were Jacob, Ignatz and James. They also made the "Stratford" pen. Extra-fine nib. Near mint.

1905 Elwood #2 size Matchstick-fill in Black Chased Hard Rubber with NP accommodation clip. There is a hole in the center of the barrel into which a matchstick is inserted to depress the bladder. The hole is covered by a Conklin-like lock ring. The cap is signed "The Elwood Pen." I could find no references to this, and can’t be sure if it is the name of the pen company or of the model of the pen. Fine point. Near mint.

1905 Anonymous/ Elwood? #4 size Matchstick-filler in Black Chased Hard Rubber with NP accommodation clip. There is a hole in the center of the barrel into which a matchstick is inserted to depress the bladder. The hole is covered by a Conklin-like lock ring. Two G/F repousse barrel bands. While the pen is unsigned, its parts match the pen above. Fine, extra-flexible nib. Near mint.

1905 Wirt #2 size eyedropper-fill straight-holder in Black Chased Hard Rubber. Two wide barrel bands in relief "snail" design. Medium, extra-flexible nib, with overfeed. Attorney Paul Wirt started his pen company in 1884 in Pennsylvania. In 1885 he patented the overfeed. A bit of imprint wear (fully readable), otherwise near mint.

1920 Edison #2 size LF in Black Chased Hard Rubber. NPT. Located in Virginia, the Edison Pen company had nothing to do with Thomas Edison. Edison first assembled pens, then started manufacturing around 1920. Edison also produced Southern Pen Co pens. He also started the Arnold Pen Company. Medium, flexible nib. Near mint.

1910 Crocker #2 size Blow-fill in Black Chased Hard Rubber. There is a hole in the bottom of the barrel, and yes, the user blows into the hole to depress the bladder and releases to draw up the ink!. Eventually, Crocker recommended a rubber syringe be used instead. Fine, flexible, italic nib. Near mint.

1910 Boston Safety #2 LF in Black Chased Hard Rubber with GFT, including a very wide cap band and rollerball clip. The company was sold to Wahl in 1927, who wanted to have a fountain pen to pair with their pencils. Boston’s lever-fill, rollerball clip pens, such as this one, soon became Wahl’s "Tempoint" pens. Medium nib. Some overall chasing wear (fully visible), otherwise near mint.

1910 Mabie Todd #2 eyedropper-fill in Black Chased Hard Rubber. Barrel also imprinted "Property of N.Y. Telephone Co." Comes with Black Metal "Pocket Pal" with Swan logo on front, designed to hold the pen securely in the user’s pocket. The pen was slipped out of the Pocket Pal for use. Fine nib. Near mint.
