GoPens was founded in 1995 by Gary and Myrna Lehrer, longtime vintage pen collectors and dealers. When GoPens.com opened its virtual doors, the Lehrer’s reputation for supplying outstanding pens and for fair dealing fueled its immediate success, and GoPens continued to be a trusted source of special items to collectors worldwide until Gary’s untimely death in 2022.

In 2025, Myrna passed the baton to George Rimakis and Ernesto Soler of Parker51.com. Both have been fixtures of the pen collecting and dealing field for many years, and they bring their combined decades of expertise to the next chapter in the GoPens story.

GoPens buys fine writing instruments and collections and presents these items to collectors through this website, on eBay, and in person at pen shows throughout the world. George and Ernesto intend to carry forward the Lehrer’s legacy well into the future, broadening the company’s offerings while maintaining Gary’s emphasis on superb quality and exemplary customer service.
