I read online that I should keep my ebonite pen dry but it got wet while I was cleaning it and now I'm worried it's ruined!
While it's true ebonite pens should not be soaked in water, a little water on the barrel or cap won't do long term damage. Dry it off gently but well with a clean towel as soon as you can, and it should be ok.
